Aadhaar update process officially announced by UIDAI [2019]

Update your Aadhar Data.

In order to register for Aadhaar for yourself or for your family member, you will be required to visit an Aadhaar Enrolment Center.

In case your Demographic details (Name, Address, DoB, Gender, Mobile Number, Email) is not up-to-date in your Aadhaar, you can make the same updated by visiting an Aadhaar Enrolment Center.

Aadhaar owners children( who have turned 15) or others in need of updating Biometrics details – Finger Prints, Iris & Photograph are required to visit an Enrolment centre too. Please get valid Address proof documents.

You can update your Aadhaar address to where you are presently living, with the consent and authentication of the address verifier (a family member, relative, friends, and landlord) who is willing to let you use their address as proof.

UIDAI shall send an Address Validation Letter to the address, which could be accepted for online update.

Aadhar Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) stated a process on how to change/update your Aadhar details. No Aadhar card will be updated online.

Aadhar will be updated only in Aadhar centres near your hometown. In India, each city/Town having multiple Aadhar centres. Aadhar centres are placed in certified Banks, In every bank, you will find a section named Aadhar centre.

By visiting there you can fill the form of Aadhar update, In that form, you have to specify what you want to change/update.

Example: If someone wants to change their Date of Birth (DOB) they have to mention in that form and they should attach an accurate DOB proof so that DOB can change in Aadhar.

If someone wants to correct their name or Address they have to attach a proof of that name and address.
