1. Pat Cummins
Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins was sold for ₹15.5 crores to the franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. In the 2020 auction, Pat Cummins is the most expensive overseas player in IPL auction history.
Pat Cummins previously played for Delhi Daredevils; they brought Cummins for 4.5 crores in the year 2017. In 2017, he plucked 15 wickets.
In the 2018 IPL auction, Cummins was bought by the Mumbai Indians for a price of 5.4 crores. Cummins was later ruled out of the whole 2018 tournament due to an injury.
2. Glenn Maxwell
Australian all-rounder who can bat and bowl, sold for ₹10.75 crores, franchise: Kings XI Punjab. After Pat Cummins, Maxwell is the second most expensive player in IPL 2020.
Glenn Maxwell was one of the most significant buys in the 2013 auctions; Maxwell played for Kings XI Punjab from 2014 to 2017. In 2018 Maxwell played for the Delhi Daredevils.
In 2019 Maxwell was absent due to the World Cup. Well, Maxwell is one of the best all-rounders.
3. Chris Morris
South Africa all-rounder and big hitter sold for ₹10 crores; franchise: Royal Challengers Bangalore.
In IPL 2016 Chris Morris was a tremendous player for the Delhi Daredevils; he performed remarkable innings against the Gujarat Lions, scoring 82* runs off just 32 balls with 4 fours and 8 sixes.
Chris Morris played for Delhi Daredevils from 2016 to 2019, but after the poor form in 2019, Delhi Daredevils released him, and then Royal Challengers Bangalore brought Morris for ₹10 crores.
4. Sheldon Cottrell

5. Nathan Coulter-Nile
Australian all-rounder Nathan Coulter-Nile sold for ₹8 crores to the Mumbai Indians franchise. Well, Nathan Coulter-Nile started his IPL journey in 2013 with the Mumbai Indians.
