JioPages is now available on Android TV, JioPages Made in India Browser

JioPages has been built possible for Android TV users through the Google Play Store.

The Jio company announced that more initial, the Jio Browser was only usable on TV through the Jio set-top box, but now it can download from the Google Play store on Android TV.

Jio, in a statement, stated that the browser “is made in India browser that’s particularly designed for TV screens. Presents an improved browsing experience through faster engine movement, best-in-class webpage rendering, faster page load, effective media streaming, and encrypted connection.”

The browser maintains eight Indian languages: Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali. Users also have the choice of customizing news feeds according to their selected language.

The web page can also be used in incognito mode, allowing the user to enable private browsing by checking browsing history from being saved in the system.

JioPage has a dedicated video segment with over 10,000 videos in over 20 categories, including music, kids, lifestyle, news, etc. Users can use the feature on Android TV.

The company had started JioPages last year with several new features. Jio announced that the new browser directs on data privacy and provides control to users of their data.

“While maintaining privacy at the focus of the browser, JioPages presents better performance when related to its peers. It is created n the powerful Chromium Blink engine. It presents improved browsing experience through faster engine migration, best-in-class webpage rendering, faster page loads, dynamic media streaming, Emoji domain support, an encrypted connection,” the company had stated in a statement.

Users will get an opportunity to transform the appearance of their home screen. This suggests that users can pick from a change of background themes to improve their browsing experience.

They will also get an opportunity to shift to dark mode to save themselves from eye trouble.

The JioPages browser will allow users to personalize the content in terms of language, material, and region. Along with this, JioPages will update notifications only on relevant topics or of interest to the user.
