Vodafone started the RechargeforGood initiative, under which if a customer performs an online recharge for another Vodafone customer, he will get a cashback of up to 6 per cent. Not just for those in need, you can make recharges for people who are incapable of recharging their numbers online.
The offer is valid only if you recharge the numbers through the MyVodafone App or the MyIdea App. Existing Vodafone or Idea customers can use this offer to help others through the apps.
Speaking about the #Rechargeforgood initiative, Avneesh Khosla, Marketing Director, Vodafone Idea, stated, “The current situation has affected a large number of our prepaid customers who have been helpless to step out and recharge and do not have access to the internet to recharge digitally. As a telecom company, it is our constant endeavour to secure seamless connectivity for all consumers, even in these unpredictable times.
We are beginning #RechargeforGood to enable those subscribers who are having trouble recharging their phones during these unprecedented times. We request all our digitally engaged Vodafone and Idea prepaid customers to do a kind deed by offering one or multiple #RechargeforGood.”
The Recharge for Good plan will go live on April 9, 2020, for Vodafone customers and on April 10, 2020, for Idea customers. This offer will go on until April 30, 2020.
How you can get cashback for people in need:
Existing Vodafone or Idea customers can download the Vodafone App or the Idea App if they don’t have it already. Post which, they can log in and make recharges for other customers who are incapable of using the online stand or for people in need.
Once the recharge is completed, the customer will get a cashback of up to six per cent depending on the Recharge value. The customers can use the cashback coupon on their next recharge.
